Welcome to Stichix - Fashion & Try-On ("Stichix", "we", "our", or "us"). Stichix is a mobile application developed and operated by Shirpp Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated in Gujarat, India.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use the Stichix app on Android devices. By downloading and using our app, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Stichix app.
2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly
• Full name
• Email address
• Mobile number (optional, for account verification)
• Body measurements (height, weight, clothing size) — used only for size recommendations
• Photos you upload for virtual try-on features
• Style preferences and saved outfit boards
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
• Device information (model, OS version, screen resolution)
• App usage data (screens visited, features used, session duration)
• Crash reports and error logs
• IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
• App install source and referral data
2.3 Camera & Photo Access
The Stichix app requests access to your device camera and photo library solely for the purpose of enabling our virtual try-on features:
• Camera access — used for our Live Camera Try-On feature, which overlays selected outfits on your live camera feed in real time.
• Photo library access — used to allow you to upload a photo of yourself for our Photo Try-On feature.
We do not access your camera or photos at any time other than when you explicitly activate a try-on feature. Photos are processed to enable the try-on overlay and are not shared with third parties or used for any other purpose.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
• To create and manage your Stichix account
• To provide virtual try-on features using your photos or live camera
• To generate personalised size recommendations based on your measurements
• To display fashion products and collections relevant to your preferences
• To save your style boards and outfit combinations
• To send you service-related notifications (account updates, order status)
• To improve app performance and fix bugs using crash/error data
• To respond to your support requests and feedback
• To comply with applicable laws and legal obligations
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We only share your data in the following limited circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers
We may share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the app, such as:
• Cloud hosting providers (for secure data storage)
• Analytics providers (for app usage insights — anonymised data only)
• Crash reporting tools (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics)

• Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for up to 90 days after deletion.
• Photos uploaded for try-on are processed immediately and are not stored on our servers beyond the active session, unless you save a look to your style board.
• Saved looks and style boards are retained until you delete them or close your account.
• Analytics and crash data are retained in aggregated, anonymised form for up to 12 months.
6. Data Security
We take the security of your personal information seriously. We implement the following measures to protect your data:
• All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS (Transport Layer Security).
• Sensitive data is stored using encryption at rest.
• Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
• We regularly review and update our security practices.
While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
7.1 Access & Correction
You can access and update your account information at any time through the app's profile settings.
7.2 Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data. You can do this in two ways:
• In-app: Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
• By email: Send a request to support@stichix.in with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
Please note that some data may be retained for legal compliance purposes even after deletion.
7.3 Withdraw Consent
You can withdraw permission for camera or photo access at any time through your device's app permission settings. Withdrawing these permissions will disable the try-on features but will not affect your general use of the app.
7.4 Opt-Out of Communications
You can opt out of non-essential communications (such as promotional emails) by using the unsubscribe link in any such email, or by contacting us at support@stichix.in.
8. Children's Privacy
The Stichix app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@stichix.in and we will delete the information promptly.
9. Third-Party Links & Services
The Stichix app may contain links to third-party websites, fashion brand pages, or shopping platforms. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Stichix app. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party sites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access through our app.
10. App Permissions Explained
The Stichix app requests the following device permissions and uses them only as described:
CAMERA
Purpose: To enable the Live Camera Try-On feature, which overlays selected outfits on your live camera feed. Camera access is only activated when you tap the Live Try-On button. We do not record or store video from your camera.
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES
Purpose: To allow you to select and upload a photo from your photo library for the Photo Try-On feature. We access your photos only when you explicitly choose to upload one. We do not scan or access your entire photo library.
INTERNET
Purpose: To load fashion content, sync your account data, and enable app features that require a network connection.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Purpose: To check whether your device is connected to the internet before attempting to load content.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:
• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
• Notify you through an in-app notification or email.
Your continued use of the Stichix app after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA).
Any disputes arising from this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Surat, Gujarat, India.
