What is DTF printing?
DTF stands for direct-to-film. Instead of pressing ink straight into the fabric, the design is first printed onto a special film. A fine adhesive powder is applied, and the film is then heat-pressed onto the t-shirt. When the film is peeled away, the design stays bonded to the fabric.
Why does that matter to you as a wearer?
- Fine detail. Small text, gradients and complex artwork come out crisp instead of muddy.
- Bold, true colours. Reds, golds and deep blacks keep their punch.
- Flexible feel. The print moves with the fabric, so it doesn't feel like a stiff plastic patch.

How to care for a printed tee so it lasts :
Even the best print lasts longer with a little care. These habits apply to any graphic t-shirt, Stichix or not.
- Turn it inside out before washing. This protects the print from rubbing against other clothes.
- Use cold or lukewarm water. Heat is the biggest enemy of any print.
- Go easy on detergent. Skip harsh bleach and strong stain removers on the printed area.
- Dry in the shade. Direct sun and hot tumble drying wear prints down faster.
- Iron on the reverse side. If you must iron, never press directly on the print.
A minute of care after each wash is the cheapest way to keep a favourite tee looking new.
